My Poster- The Last Message

My poster uses the professional elements to make it seem as real as possible. The poster was created by taking a photo of the main character Alex and then applying him onto a wooded area using Photoshop. I then used blue photo filters to take the orangey hue out of the picture of Alex so that he would look like he was in that area. To cut Alex out of the picture i simply used the magic wand tool in Photoshop to select the backdrop behind him then delete him. I used Alex to showcase the star of the show and i used the wooded background to relate to the park scene.

The fonts i used in this poster are bold and effective. This appeals to a wider audience as more people will be able view what’s on the poster. The largest words on the poster are the film title. This is because the starring actor is unknown. This also gives the audience a slight insight as to what the movie is about. This also hints that the movie may be a romance. The tag line “How far would you go to make someone yours?” makes you question the idea of this movie being a romance film. The diamond at the bottom starts with the Filming company and is followed by the production team. It is then followed by the director, then actors/ actresses etc. As the professional posters would have it, i have made the diamond descend in the order of the most important job down. My poster would be the type of poster seen in public areas to promote the release of the film in cinemas.
