Poster Analysis- Space Jam

This poster is about the film space jam. The fonts are easy to read obviously to attract to a wide variety of audiences. The biggest words in the poster are the stars of the movie Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan. This shows that the stars of the show will be the selling point of the movie. The words space jam are in a cartoony font showing some sort of animation will appear in the movie which will attract a younger audience. The tag line in the poster is “Get ready to jam” which hints at a bit of action within the film. This tag line along with the words space jam anchors the poster. The imagery on the poster includes both Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny. This again shows that they will be a major selling point to the movie. The backdrop to the stars is a starry sky suggesting some sort of sci-fi in the film. The film appears to be a sci-fi animation film but may have some sort of action to it. The diamond at the bottom begins with “Warner Bros. Presents” which shows that they will be the most commonly known contribution to the film. This is then followed, on a line below, with the production company, then the stars of the show etc. This shows the importance of job in a descending order.
